陳為廷前往香港關心公投

島國前進發起人之一的陳為廷，搭乘國泰航空公司班機前往香港，關心香港公投及佔中等相關活動。陳為廷說，心中已經有準備，假使班機到了香港遭到拒絕入境，他會接受遣返。此行有2位友人與陳為廷一起前往香港。

陳為廷事先申請香港簽證遭到拒絕，他改用俗稱台胞證的台灣居民往來大陸通行證前往香港，還沒有服兵役的陳為廷，先到桃園機場移民署櫃台辦理兵役註記，再到國泰航空櫃台辦理報到手續，順利取得登機證上飛機。
