美國太空總署NASA陰謀論者痛批，刻意隱瞞「外星生物」存在。UFO愛好人士指出，NASA在1月份的太空站直播時，2度故意切斷「神祕物體」出現的畫面。

據英國《每日郵報》（Daily Mail）報導，UFO愛好人士托比（Toby Lunch）表示，日前在太空站外側看見神祕物體，但隨後直播畫面就遭緊急切斷，中斷時間約10-15秒。

托比還指出，NASA事後會刪除相關檔案紀錄，似在銷毀太空人員與UFO間的通訊聯繫證據。

另一位UFO愛好者則宣稱，曾在地平線上空見到灰色不明物體，但NASA立即切換鏡頭，疑點重重。

部分人士認為，神祕物體可能是飄過鏡頭前的塵埃，或是太陽光所致，但這些解釋，仍無法消除陰謀論家的疑心。UFO愛好者深信，這些均是NASA刻意隱瞞「人類在宇宙不孤單」的證據。

倫敦倫敦大學帝國學院物理系教授巴爾萊（Andrew Balogh）表示，「UFO目擊畫面多含加工成份，或只是太空垃圾。就這一事件而言，由於NASA畫面質素低劣，單憑視頻無法作出判斷」。報導指出，目前NASA尚未作出評論。
