立法院副院長洪秀柱昨晚參加國民黨立法院黨團餐敘時被問及是否參選總統？洪秀柱回應表示「這也是一個選擇」，但不是她選擇或不選擇，「而是人民要不要選擇我」。不是位置的問題，而是能做什麼的問題。洪秀柱今（31）日於立法院受訪時在被問及與誰搭擋時指出，「太會聯想，這沒有考慮這麼多，這問題問得太早」!

由於洪秀柱已連任多屆不分區立委，依規定無法再連任不分區立委，而近日亦未登記國民黨區域立委黨內初選，為此洪秀柱表示，路都絕了，這是經過長久思考決定，艱難的路，個人壓力很大，只要看鄉民與網民就會有很大挑戰，路是一步步走出來。媒體追問洪秀柱是否害怕網友？洪秀柱則回答，有什麼好怕的，別人對會對她一步步了解。

而對於昨夜餐敘營造馬吳朱王團結氣氛，私下與公開是否有不同？洪秀柱則說，大家私下跟公開都一樣很和氣，昨天自己遲到了，但看他們很high的樣子。
