今天(14日)老鷹沒讓主場球迷失望，讀秒階段被巫師Paul Pierce投進逆轉三分球，Al Horford在最後1秒回敬致勝補籃，以82比81贏球取得3勝聽牌。

打完前3節老鷹領先1分，第4節雙方命中率都不佳，比賽剩下8.3秒時「老皮」Pierce在底線投進超前三分球。

落後1分的老鷹執行最後一擊，Dennis Schroder切入上籃遭到封阻，Horford搶到進攻籃板放進2分。剩下1.9秒的巫師沒有暫停，後場的長距離投射落空，由老鷹82比81勝出。

老鷹把握今天在主場作戰的契機，率先取得3比2聽牌優勢，第6戰將在後天(16日)於巫師主場進行。
