遠雄集團董事長趙藤雄遭羈押禁見，苗栗縣長劉政鴻今天表示，擔心剛通過環評的遠雄醫療園區，恐怕工程進度也會遭受影響。

台北地檢署偵辦桃園合宜住宅收賄案，一度獲得交保的趙藤雄，在檢方抗告成功後，台北地方法院今晨改將他羈押禁見，消息傳回後龍老家，鄰居表示難以置信「這麼大企業的老闆怎會行賄」。

苗栗地方人士也開始擔心，剛剛於5月份通過環評的遠雄醫療園區原本預定7月就要動工，會不會因為趙藤雄遭到羈押，而受到影響。

對此，苗栗縣長劉政鴻指出「這2天都很難過，真的滿擔心的」，原本這週「就要和趙藤雄敲定動工時間」，沒想到突然發生變故，不排除遠雄醫療園區的進度，會因此延後。

苗栗縣政府於民國100年就和遠雄集團簽訂「苗栗縣遠雄健康生活園區促參BOO案」，除了興建綜合醫院外，還將設置國際醫療、安養以及生技園區，並且和國家衛生研究院合作設立癌症研究中心。

目前苗栗縣每1萬人口的醫生數大約10名，遠遠低於全國平均約18名，每萬人急性一般病床23床，也不及全國平均目標35床，引進大型醫院和人才迫在眉睫。

劉政鴻憂心的表示，花了這麼長的時間，「好不容易通通準備就緒」，如果真的發生變化，「苗栗鄉親又要苦啦」。 1030602
