世足賽／A組 墨西哥1：0克喀麥隆

世足A組第二場預賽，墨西哥靠前鋒培洛塔 (OribePeralta)補射空門得手，1：0力克非洲雄師喀麥隆，在A組與巴西雙雙率先取得一勝。

墨西哥前鋒多斯桑托斯 (Giovani dos Santos)是這場比賽焦點人物，他在比賽第12分鐘門前推射破網，被判越位不算，第30分鐘又在禁區裡頭錘建功，可惜被判手球，依然被裁判沒收，引起爭議。

培洛塔的空門補射，也是來自多斯桑托斯的單刀推射，被門將擋出後，培洛塔跟進補上一腳，為墨西哥世足之路前進一大步。
