ETC遇首颱 暫停收費優惠沒了

〔自由時報記者黃立翔／台北報導〕中颱麥德姆眼見將成今年首次襲台的颱風，不過ＥＴＣ電子計程收費去年底上路由人工轉為電子收費，颱風季也不會暫停收費，許多用路人可能要失望了。

颱風來襲，過去因為收費員也要避開危險，全台廿二個收費站若在颱風影響範圍，當地政府公告停班停課後，該路段高速公路也會暫停收費。不過，收費員被卅九個電子門架取代後，可以日不休夜不眠廿四小時計費，完全不受天候影響。

高公局表示，電子門架設計可以抵禦十六到十七級風，「房子屋頂都被吹翻，電子門架仍文風不動」，防雨也到豪大雨等級，經過嚴密測試，可靠度不遜於有屋頂的收費站。

高公局業務組表示，若電子門架損壞失效，除非有其他方法能舉證用路人車號，否則不能收費，收不到過路費的損失全數由遠通負擔。
