美國總統歐巴馬今天歡迎到白宮造訪的日本首相安倍晉三，兩人盛讚美日安保同盟是亞太地區安全基石，面對中國大陸日增的勢力，雙方並誓言將合力對抗對「國際秩序」的威脅。

兩國發布聯合聲明，重申雙方承諾「致力迅速和成功達成」目前有12國參與談判的跨太平洋夥伴協定（TPP）。
