2014年FORD發表旗下經典美式跑車，Mustang六代車型，在基礎車型方面便以嶄新的Ecoboost 2.3L V6引擎提供充沛的動力，而進階的GT350更是以5.2L V8自然進氣引擎援引多項輕量化科技，提供車輛500hp/54kgm的強悍動能，但背負著最強野馬之名的六代車型，後續又在2015年的底特律車展中，發表了終極的GT350R版本，以此挑戰位於德國的Nurburgring賽道，並做出7:32.19成績。
