國泰金控27日公告已取得主管機關來函同意認可，蔡宗翰即日起正式出任國泰世華銀行資深副總經理暨策略長，而這項重大的人事案，外界認為是國泰蔡家在為蔡宗翰的接班之路暖身。

蔡宗翰自2005年擔任國泰人壽董事至今，在國泰人壽磨練超過7年，對於國泰人壽財務、投資、不動產、業務等相當熟悉，在接任國泰世華銀策略長兼資深副總經理後，由於法規的規定，不能再出任國泰人壽副總經理。

國泰金近年來積極布局亞洲，加上銀行新經營型態的改變，除數位化金融環境3.0全面啟動，第三方支付專法也立法通過，市場預期，蔡宗翰接下策略長職務將肩負兩大任務，不僅要帶領銀行打亞洲盃，持續擴展海外併購版圖，更要因應網路時代，改變營運模式，搶攻第三方支付，帶領國泰世華銀行創新獲利，鞏固龍頭地位。
