好萊塢經典系列科幻電影《侏儸紀公園》(Jurassic Park)中，飾演滿臉大鬍子、對於恐龍有著莫名狂熱「國際遺傳公司」(InGen)總裁哈蒙德博士(Dr. John Hammond)的英國資深藝人李察艾登堡祿男爵(Baron Richard Attenborough)，在英國當地時間周日(25日)中午時分，病逝於倫敦近郊一所專門照顧資深演藝人員的安養中心，享壽90歲。距離他91歲生日還有5天。
 
李察艾登堡祿男爵是英國當代最偉大的演員與導演之一，生平獲獎無數，包括2座奧斯卡金像獎，3座金球獎，與4座有「英國奧斯卡」之稱的英國影藝學院金像講(BAFTA)等。他是1982年傳世經典《甘地》的導演與演員，1990年代《侏儸紀公園》系列中的狂熱科學家，與《34街的奇蹟》中的聖誕老人，都讓人印象深刻。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
