全球最繁忙機場 杜拜取代倫敦希斯洛

國際機場協會（ACI）的最新數據顯示，中東杜拜已取代英國倫敦，躍居全球客運量最大的機場。

ACI公布，從2014年初到12月22日，總計有6,890萬名旅客過境杜拜國際機場，超越倫敦希斯洛（Heathrow）機場的6,780萬人。

這段期間，杜拜機場因進行整修，曾有長達80天只有單線跑道可供飛機起降，一度造成航班數量減少。

杜拜機場執行長格里菲斯（Paul Griffiths）表示，根據2014年頭11個月的運輸量，加上12月有幾天旅客人數破紀錄，全年過境人數可望突破7,000萬人，成為全世界最繁忙的機場。

他指出，2015年的展望同樣很樂觀，未來12個月將達成相同成長水準。

杜拜機場去年11月的統計數字顯示，當月過境旅客人數較去年同期增加4.3%，達到550萬人。
