馬來西亞航空MH17航班在烏克蘭東部與俄羅斯邊境遭到飛彈擊落，機上298人全部罹難，烏克蘭政府在反抗軍占領區內逮捕2名操作飛彈發射器的嫌犯。

根據《蘋果日報》報導，烏克蘭政府表示，事發當時操作飛彈發射器的有3人，烏克蘭政府逮捕其中2人，2人中有1人持有飛彈操作證書，因此有證據顯示他們是飛彈專家。

根據美聯社報導，先前表示尋獲飛機黑盒子的烏克蘭反抗軍，如今又否認尋獲黑盒子。外界質疑反抗軍可能會淹滅攻擊民航機的證據。

美國官員18日表示，美方情報單位的初步分析認為，親俄羅斯分離民兵可能擊落1架飛越烏克蘭領空的馬來西亞客機，不過華盛頓方面仍在檢查相關證據。
