王建民轉戰白襪3A首戰　先發6局失4分

王建民逃脫紅人合約之後，今天首次穿上白襪3A夏洛特騎士隊40號球衣出賽，在主場先發對上去年曾效力過的洋基3A史寬頓鐵道騎士隊，結果投完6局後退場，用了99球，被敲7支安打，失4分都是責失，有3次四壞球和2次三振，騎士在6局下攻得2分，以6比4領先，建仔是勝投候選人。

雖然是轉隊後首度出賽，但王建民距離前次先發，也不過休5天，等於無縫接軌，前5局表現正常，只被敲3安打失1分，但6局上面對前3名打者被敲1安打、製造2出局後，突然走鐘，又被敲3安打、投1次四壞球，掉3分，被對手追成4比4。

建仔此役最快球速大約90哩(144.8公里)，球路以伸卡球、曲球和變速球為主，6局中製造10次滾地球出局和1次飛球出局，狀況大約是在投完90球後開始下滑，最後撐完6局、99球後退場。(謝岱穎／綜合報導)
