受教宗啟發　義富豪購船救難民

義大利一對富有夫婦克里斯托佛(Cristofer Catrambone)和雷吉娜(Regina Catrambone)，響應教宗方濟各的呼籲，救助身處危難中的非法移民。 他們先前花下數百萬美元買了一艘大船「鳳凰一號」(Phoenix 1)，由上月底起於地中海和歐洲之間穿梭，專門為非法移民船隻上孤苦無依的民眾提供糧食、救生衣等人道援助，至今至有已少227名難民受助。

這些難民有來自巴勒斯坦、敍利亞、北非等地。單是北非，每年都會有數以萬計的移民試圖前往歐洲，他們大多難以維持生計，生活環境極度惡劣。

來自義大利的雷吉娜表示，她去年到地中海出遊時，看到難民的慘況，感觸頗深，而教宗去年訪問義大利蘭佩杜薩島時，指出每年都會有3百多名這類移民者死亡，人們應該盡量救助他們，讓雷吉娜決定付諸行動，幫助難民。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
