沒錢　英跳崖勝地防止自殺隊將解散

英國南部的比奇角（Beachy Head）是著名旅遊景點，但景色壯麗的天然斷崖也成為自殺者徘徊之處。一群牧師過去十年在此處日夜巡邏，阻止失意的人輕生，日前更獲英國女王嘉許。但這隊由4位牧師及14名志願人士組成的防止自殺隊，因經費不足，本月底可能解散。

這支稱為比奇角牧師小組（Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team）的隊伍，去年曾與368名看來有自殺傾向的遊人傾談，其中一些人的確想來自殺，但經過開導之後，打消自殺念頭，牧師更會轉介他們往適當機構求助。但這個慈善組織的經費已經捉襟見肘，教會本月底將出售Land Rover巡邏車、先進熱能影像攝影機和其他器材以墊付薪酬，若後續沒有金錢援助，他們的防止自殺工作將被迫中止。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
