伊斯坦堡第三座機場動工

土耳其總理厄多岡（RecepTayyip Erdogan）7日主持伊斯坦堡第三座機場的動土典禮。這座機場預估耗資300億美元興建，可望成為全球最忙碌的機場之一。

厄多岡向群眾表示：「這是伊斯坦堡歷史性的一天，也是土耳其歷史性的一刻。全球六大洲最大的機場將在此升起。」

厄多岡說，這座機場第一階段的工程預定於2017年10月29日土耳其建國94周年這天完工，2018年完全啟用，未來每年預估會有1.5億名旅客造訪。

不過這項計畫也引發環保人士擔憂。這些人指出，這座機場坐落於樹木叢生的地區，且靠近泰爾考斯湖（Terkos）；這座湖是伊斯坦堡都會區飲用水的六大主要蓄水區之一。
