大陸蘇州女子周頌英尊重父母遺願，先後在2006、2008年捐贈兩人器官，但鄰居與親友都無法諒解，指責周頌英把父母「千刀萬剮」，甚至「出賣」父母，她只好多次搬家。

上海澎湃新聞報導，周頌英的父母在蘇州盤門附近的社區住了近20年，周父、周母2002年共同填寫器官捐贈同意書，成為蘇州首例夫婦共同捐贈。

年近五旬的周頌英說，就因為遵照遺囑把父母的遺體捐贈出去，她在世俗眼光中飽受「不孝」罵名，12年來不只多次搬家，最近一次就在12月9日，還曾因此放棄幼稚園教師工作，轉當非醫療健康諮詢師。

蘇州市紅十字會遺體捐贈者委員會副主任邵佩英說，捐遺志願者的工作並不順利，「有時會被人罵，說我們晦氣」。但周頌英說，儘管反對的聲音一直都有，「但已經在慢慢好轉了」。(中央社)
