土耳其總統主持內閣會議 強化權力

土耳其總統艾爾段就任總統以來，今天首次主持內閣會議，進一步強化總統職權，引來批評者擔心他已累積過多權力。

艾爾段（Recep Tayyip Erdogan）擔任總理10多年後，去年8月當選總統。他在位於安卡拉郊區、引發廣大爭議的總統府主持內閣會議。

土耳其憲法賦予總統主持內閣會議的權力，不過，在艾爾段之前的兩位總統塞翟（Ahmet Necdet Sezer）和莒內（Abdullah Gul），大多只是扮演儀式性角色，從未主持政府會議。

贏得52%選票的艾爾段認為透過直選上台，可讓他無須修改土耳其議會制憲法，便能擁有更多權力，並繼續留在政治核心。

艾爾段加強掌控權力，讓若干西方盟友及國內反對者氣餒，他們擔心艾爾段的權力在缺乏制衡情況下，會讓土耳其遠離西方的法治和言論自由標準。
